Free Event – ‘Two Tone Towns: A Social History of Ska in Dorset’

Come along and celebrate the multicultural history of Dorset and how music can bring together people, sounds and styles from many different subcultures.

This free event will explore the history of Ska and Two Tone music in Dorset and its influence on local culture over the past 50 years through an exciting evening of live music, interviews and film.

Featuring live music from Ska band The Guns of Navarone.

This event is part of Bournemouth University’s ESRC Festival of Social Sciences 2023 and is supported by DEED and BH Coastal Lottery Community Fund Small Grants Scheme.
