Global Learning Resources

We have a very wide range of hands-on resource collections available to borrow which can bring topics and themes to life. These collections include a selection of everyday domestic objects, clothes, cultural artefacts, books, music and teaching packs.

DEED’s resource boxes help to bring countries and themes alive. They can be borrowed and used in Early Years settings, schools, and community groups. They cover themes such as Myself, Homes, Food Around the World, Water and Play. Our Early Years collections include Chinese, West African and Indian Home Corner Collections and an Early Years Music Collection. Our country collections include textiles, clothing, household items and teaching resources, all offering inspirational ways to promote positive attitudes to diversity and to exploring similarities and differences. All our resources will add a valuable global dimension to your teaching and help you bring the world to your place every day!
