Free student workshops focussed on the impact of litter on our environment

These workshops will lead to creative ideas and art designs being installed in the local community to raise awareness about the issues of pollution.

Thanks to funding from the Wessex Water Foundation Environment Fund via Dorset Community Foundation, we are delighted to be able to offer 2 local middle and/or secondary schools free student workshops, initially in the Wimborne/Blandford/Corfe Mullen area. This work follows on from a successful project last year with ‘A’ Level Graphic Design students at QE school, who designed their own ‘drain art’ which was installed in Wimborne town centre in time for the Wimborne Folk Festival, to raise awareness about the impact of litter on the rivers and sea.

Places are limited, so if you have any questions or are interested in being involved, please do drop me an email: training@deed.org.uk
