Take the Africa Comes to Bournemouth Quiz

Africa Comes to Bournemouth is an annual event that’s all about celebrating culture, community, and causes.

It’s all about honouring and promoting Black history, creating awareness, and supporting important causes. It's an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that make our region so diverse and vibrant.

You’ll find them throughout October at the Dolphin Centre in Poole, where you can join them for a dynamic showcase of events, engaging talks, and empowering workshops.

There’s also a weekend of activities showcasing the best of African and Caribbean music, art, food and culture, taking place on Saturday 1st July and Sunday 2nd July in Bournemouth Square. Activities will include drumming workshops, African dancing, Caribbean dancing, Urban Street Dance, live music, crafts stalls, hair wrapping tasters, storytelling and spoken word.

Meanwhile, to celebrate Black History Month you can test your black history knowledge with their online quiz and win FREE prizes. All you have to do is answer 6 questions correctly!
