Development Education Centres
DEA is an education charity that promotes global learning. The DEA members' network includes the 50 or so local Development Education Centres (DEC's) across the UK, of which DEED is the Dorset based organisation.
They aim to raise the profile of global issues and encourage positive local action for global change. They can help to lighten the workload and increase people's knowledge and understanding by providing: * learning programmes * training and workshops * resources libraries * talks and lessons * support and advice * teaching ideas.
