Resources
DEED has a wide range of artefacts, musical instruments, story books, activity manuals, DVDs and photopacks available to buy or borrow. Using artefacts and resources within the classroom is a great way to bring topics to life and engage young people. When used respectfully they can inspire a sense of awe and wonder, promote critical thinking and challenge negative stereotypes.
DEED has resources which are suitable for all key stages and subject areas. The collections are constantly being improved and updated and prove very popular with schools and Early Years settings.
The DEED Resource Centre is based in Poole, and you are welcome to arrange a visit to browse, borrow or buy resources. DEED staff are also able to offer advice and curriculum planning guidance.
DEED operates a delivery service which means we can bring resources direct to you, alongside optional training and guidance to suit. Subscribe to DEED and get special discount rates on all these services and other exclusive offers - see our subscription page for details.
